Ever wonder why, when you have a little bit of extra money stashed away, something major seems to break? That happened to me this week. My washing machine went out this week. So now I am off to make the major purchase of a new washer.

I guess I should be grateful that I am not using a tub and washboard as my grandmother did. We are so technologically  advance now. I am waiting for the day when all we do is push a button and the "robot" picks up, sorts, washes, folds, and puts away the laundry. NO MORE MATING SOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I told my son, "If you want to be rich, invent an automatic sock mater. I  promise you that every house in the world would by one."

Well this is my first venture in blogging. I have read several blogs by different people. Since I love to write, I decided to give it a try. I am a Head Start teacher during the school year. So I have the summers off. I will be blogging my daily adventures and travels. I love to take pictures as well and create stories with the pictures. This will be some of the blogs that will be posted.
